About Stonewall Chico Pride

Stonewall Chico Pride is the largest LGBTQ+ event between Sacramento and the Oregon border, and one of the biggest annual festivals in the Butte County area. It’s a celebration of diversity; uniting, strengthening and affirming the LGBTQ+ Community and our allies. Our Pride typically has 4 days packed full of events for all ages, interests, identities and walks of life. Chico Pride usually pulls in between 5,000 and 7,000 attendees each year.

Chico Pride has previously been held in August or September, but this year it will be scheduled for June.

Stonewall Chico Pride is planned by a team of around 20 volunteers, community partners and Stonewall staff, interns, and board members. It is chaired by Stonewall’s on-staff Event Coordinator, and hosted by Stonewall Alliance- Chico’s nonprofit LGBTQ+ center.

All proceeds go toward funding Stonewall Alliance’s nonprofit programs including free and confidential HIV testing, gender affirimg resources, social and support groups, advocacy and training, and more.
