Folks from the California Department of Healthcare presented a free workshop on sexual health, reproductive health, and prevention/ early detection of common cancers. This workshop was intended for adults and was presented in association with the Every Woman Counts initiative.

Legal Services of Northern California brought a free, absolutely critical know-your-rights training to Stonewall Chico.

This was a free event hosted by Stonewall Alliance's Trans & Enby Group. Everyone of all ages were invited to Stonewall Chico to play some board games and press their own pin-back buttons!

This event was hosted by BLACC and Stonewall Chico featuring music from DJ Dixon with raffle prizes from Chico Chai and hand-printed Pedal Press T-shirts - all proceeds went to the QTPOC Direct Aid Fund for local Queer and Trans People of Color! There was also free health care by Butte County Public Health - all adults were welcome to a confidential, free HIV test, Syphilis test, and/or HCV (Herpes) test.

Saturday, Jan 11th was Stonewall Chico Group Facilitator Day! People joined us for a little tour of the office, info, questions & answers, and a meet & greet with staff and existing facilitators. We also had an existing facilitators' appreciation party! It was for Stonewall Chico facilitators only. This all took place at Stonewall Chico, 358 e. 6th street.

We built a feast together on Friday, December 20th, from 4-6pm at Stonewall Chico, 358 e. 6th street. Everyone was welcome, whether they could bring a dish or not. We all enjoyed a hot meal with community and a bit of wintertime cheer.

LGBTQ+ Adults Group invited everyone in the Queer community who is 18 or older to join for a tea party! We enjoyed snacks, tea, herbal hot drinks, and facilitated conversation. We talked about things our lives, and met with friends new and old. This group met from 5:30 to 7pm at Stonewall Chico, 358 e. 6th street.

On November 20th, we called on our LGBTQ+ community and allies to come be together in grief, honor, respect, love, and support as we mourn lives lost to anti-Trans violence in 2024 and all years past. It took place inside the Latimer & Kenkel law offices in Downtown Chico, 330 Wall St. #20. Event attendants gathered at 6:30pm and the memorial service began at 7pm. This event was in collaboration with Chico State’s Gender & Sexuality Equity Coalition and Chico State's AS Trans Task Force.

The LGBTQ+ Show at Museum of Northern California Art (monca)'s gallery had its grand opening reception with live performances and handmade art vendors on Friday, Nov 1 from 4pm - 8pm. It was followed by the show being up at MONCA to view and make purchases in for the following two weeks of MONCA's regular open hours (Thurs-Sun, 11am-5pm.) The show's theme was "Space To Be,” which celebrated the expansive and transformative journey of queer identity.

Stonewall and Butte County Public Health hosted a free Mpox and HPV Clinic. It took place on Oct 24th 3-5pm at Stonewall Chico, 358 e. 6th St.

Everyone ages 4-12 (and their parents or families) were invited to the Daring Dinos LGBTQ+ Kids Halloween party! On Oct 20th 3:00-5:00pm at Stonewall Chico, we had fun and games, treats, and a chance for kids and families to connect with peers and meet friends new and old. Costumes were optional!

Stonewall Chico partnered with Mental Health America to bring a Mental Health Services Town Hall meeting to Chico. People enjoyed a free catered lunch while they provided their own thoughts, needs, and experiences to help decide how mental health funding and resources get used by Public Health and by Stonewall Alliance of Chico. It took place on Sunday, September 22nd from 11am-1pm at the Chico Women's Club.
