The Know Your Rights training presented by Legal Services of Northern California @lsnorcal on Sunday, March 8th at 1pm. This event gives you a chance to talk with a legal attorney about Trans (and everyone else's) rights for free, in a confidential space. Learn the basics to protect yourselves and others, and ask the questions you've always wondered!

We'll be presenting an in-house workshop on the process of changing your name and gender marker on legal documents, records, and identification. In addition, we'll help you understand how to apply for a fee waiver - which most folks who need get - so that it's entirely free. This workshop is free as always, and all are welcome!

Stonewall Chico is proud to partner with enloehealth to announce an Educators' Panel as part of Trans Month. This event is free and open to all teachers and folks working in educational settings who want to support Trans and Nonbinary youth in schools. The discussion will be centered around 6th - 12th grades, but is appropriate for people working in any level of education. The panel will be taking questions and opening for discussion with the group, so come with thoughts and queries!

Stonewall Chico is hosting a clothing swap where community members can refresh their wardrobes by bringing clean, gently used clothing to share and discover new-to-them treasures. Attendees can also learn basic hemming, tailoring, and mending skills at a “Tutor 4 Tailoring” workshop led by volunteer Jacob. Plus, participants can enter a raffle to win one of four free gender-confirming haircut appointments from stylist Allison Bowers, with two additional appointments to be given away on social media in early March!

Get a chance to hear from professionals who serve Trans youth and other parents who have raised (or are raising ) them. This popular annual event is a great chance to get questions answered, hear information and advice that can directly benefit your parenting (or caregiving) and connect with other parents or caregivers for peer support.
